Winter at Tantora Festival concludes in AlUla

JEDDAH: AlUla Moments has concluded the fifth Winter at Tantora Festival, wrapping up the cultural extravaganza that ran from Dec. 21 to Jan. 27.

The festival, which was set against a stunning backdrop, offered a diverse program featuring the best AlUla can offer. It attracted visitors with interests in culture, entertainment, fashion, music, sports, and nature.

This year’s event featured six themed weekends, each offering unique attractions to explore AlUla’s culture, heritage, and wonders.

Live entertainment featured at the Tantora Celebration, Shorfat Al-Jadidah musical performances, and “Jamil and Bouthayna.”

Hegra Candlelit Classics, Majida El Roumi, Abadi Al-Johar, Nancy Ajram, The Swiss Orchestra, and Andrea Bocelli all performed at the festival, with Zeina Emad and Sawsan Al-Bahiti contributing to the event’s rich cultural vibe.

The Word of AlUla, Poets’ Parade, and Poet Night helped to celebrate Arabic customs.

The festival also showcased the location’s emergence as a sporting destination with events like the AlUla Trail Race and the Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo. The AlUla Citrus Festival put the spotlight on fresh fruit.

AlUla Moments now hosts the AlUla Tour, which features top names in professional cycling, from Jan. 30 to Feb. 3.

The AlUla Arts Festival returns from Feb. 9 to March 2, and future events include the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup on Feb. 10-11, and Tough Mudder Infinity AlUla on Feb. 24.
