17 YEARS – AND COUNTING – OF UAE’S RECORD ACHIEVEMENTS: Yesterday, the UAE Cabinet completed 17 years since His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, became the Prime Minister. It was indeed a proud moment as Sheikh Mohammed, during his 17 years in the Prime Minister’s Office, issued more than 10,000 resolutions through 440 Cabinet meetings, as well as 4,200 rules in the social, economic and service sectors. The milestones that the UAE has achieved over all these years are no mean feat, even as they set a tall precedent for the country’s future progress.
